Cooperative Potential As A Key Element Of Modern Organization

Abstract:

The article presents the process of creating a new theory of organization’s cooperative potential, based on inductive top-down theorizing concept. By focusing on recognizing resources a theoretical model of cooperative potential of modern organization, understood as an orderly configuration of eleven elements forming critical factors for collaboration success related to organization has been proposed. These include strategic planning of collaboration, system of communication, gaining financial resources for the partnership, decision-making process, organizing the collaboration unit, assigning tasks, duties and responsibilities, recruiting process of employees involved in cooperation, competences and attitudes of employees, leadership, external support, and goodwill. The criterion of arrangement is five organizational dimensions designated by H.J. Leavitt. The value of cooperative potential concept is confirmed by the universality and fits each organization, which is a condition of comparability of research results.
