Abstract:

The paper is focused on identifying the existing disparities among regions in terms of setting out agricultural activities and outlines the aspects that distinguish the Romania from other European countries. An empirical study for the specialization and concentration on the level of European Union was conducted. The study brings a contribution to the determination of the role and place of the agriculture as economic activity in the regional economy. The social entrepreneurship development is connected with the increasing of the discrepancy between communities in what concern the standard of living and education level which is a reality of the rural communities. The research identifies some connections between the evolution and the development of the social entrepreneurship as a way to act in the economic and social environment and the development of agriculture as an activity of the national economies.
