Abstract:
The article highlights the importance of studying corruption potential as a special phenomenon capable of creating barriers to effective anti-corruption policies. Analysis of the scientific literature and research practice shows that at the moment the topic of corruption potential is not sufficiently developed, which leaves behind corruption of empirical research the manifestations of corruption important for effective anti-corruption struggle. In accordance with this, the goals are set - to define the essence, to examine the subjects and to clarify the methods of investigating the corruption potential as an independent phenomenon.
