Country of Origin Effect and Economic Diplomacy: Literature Review and Case-Study

Abstract:

In the following working paper we briefly and synthetically discuss and highlight two main topics, the concepts of Country of Origin Effect (COO) and Economic Diplomacy, intending to emphasize the possible connections that can be established between the two aforementioned notions with the aid of an empirical case-study concerning the COO of Romanian consumers involving multiple countries (Romania, Germany, Czech Republic, Japan, Malaysia).
