Abstract:
The authors are concerned with the creation of teaching text for the subject of the Economy. The subject of Economics is a part of the school education program. This didactic text was developed and aided in the Close Test. During the creation, the authors tried to observe the structure of the text. After processing, the readability of the text was evaluated by using the Cloze test. The survey was attended by 770 respondents from three secondary schools in Slovakia and three secondary schools in Bohemia. The results showed that 13 words, i.e. 59% were supplemented by 116 students and 21 and 22 words were equally supplemented by 19 pupils.
