Abstract:

The scientific novelty of the research lies in the theoretical and methodological substantiation of indicators and in the development of methodological guidelines for the study of the scientific and technological development of Russian regions using statistical research methods and econometric modeling, which increase the reliability of the results. A distinctive feature of the study is the development of organizational and methodological tools for the formation of an information base for analyzing the interaction of a large number of statistical variables, which allow determining the integral indices of scientific and technological development, capable of being a pointer, gauge, standard, number, opinion or judgment that indicates a specific position or situation and fixes changes in this situation or situation over time, allows differentiation the advantages and predict the prospects of scientific and technological development of the regions of Russia.
