Cross-Sector Partnership: A Process or a Project? (Poland)

Abstract:

During the empirical analysis and theoretical reflection on the cross-sector partnership, both conceptual and practical dilemma arises. Can we consider the existence and functioning of those specific organizational forms through the prism of project or process, or rather both? Those questions will be answered in this white paper which aims to define the cross-sector partnership in the context of process or/and project, or as the relation of those notions. This research will prove or false following hypothesis: 1) Cross-sector partnerships are established on the basis of projects 2) Their duration is ensured by the cyclical projects (programs) 3) A long-term collaboration (the partnerships’ existence) leans on the execution of programmes, or the group of recurring projects which translate into formation of lasting processes and procedures that are a long-term basis of partnerships The methodological approach for this study includes an analysis of source literature as well as evaluative analysis of the Author’s works.
