CSR in the Logistics Sector and Its Analyses

Abstract:

This paper deals with one of the topical issues of each company, corporate social responsibility. CSR is a voluntary concept beyond the statutory obligations of an enterprise that encompasses the economic, social and environmental spheres and fulfills the goals of stakeholders. The history of CSR dates back to the early 1950s and it consist of three pillars – economic, social and environmental. As in any industry, it is important in the logistics sector of CSR. Logistics is analyzed using PESTLE analysis and Porter's five competitive forces model. Finally, the trends in CSR are defined.
