Cultural Differences and Alliance Performance in the Tunisian Hotel Industry

Abstract:

This article aims to analyze the influence of both national and organizational culture differences on alliance performance in the Tunisian hotel sector. The data were collected by questionnaires from 130 Tunisian and foreign managers and senior executives. Multivariate analysis techniques were used to estimate the model. The results indicate that cultural differences undermine alliances effectiveness and harm the partners' satisfaction, thus, reinforce the possibility of their dissolution.
