Current Problems of Digitalization in Russia: Lessons from De-Industrialization and Re-Industrialization

Abstract:

In general understanding, re-industrialization is a new economic policy devoted to modernization and innovative development of the Russian economy. Economic re-industrialization presupposes establishment of new and development of existing high-tech enterprises, production of new goods and services, creation of new work places, growth of labor productivity and industrial and economic competitiveness in whole. It is reflected in accelerated technological development of the economy, in modernization of existing productions on the basis of absolutely new technologies and in establishment of new high-tech sectors and productions. Industrialization is a substitution of manual labor with the machine one, which leads to staff disengagement. Nowadays industrialization is reduced to a sharp increase of production manufacturability. In the paper the lessons from de-industrialization and re-industrialization are showed.
