Abstract:

SME’s are affected by the long drawn out economic and financial crisis more than any other type of business because of their reduced size and their difficulty to access finance. Each SME must be self-conscious of the impact that its activity has on the environment which will reflect upon the opportunity  to explore the economic and social advantages that rises from implementing an personalized environmental management system.Because every SME is unique in its own way, implementing a Personalized Environmental Management System will bring up front al advantages of this particular type of system.
