Abstract:
Paper presents results of research taken to define and analyze the cyberspace and cybersecurity with use of achievements of theory of systems and cybernetics. Introduced models of cyberspace and cybersecurity refer to them as complex systems that remain in relations and system dependencies, which enables them to carry out a common mission. Their functioning has been illustrated within models by separate elements (components). The structures of systems create appropriate functional and safety configurations. Which when properly designed can minimize the effects of cyber incidents and reduce the set of risk factors of the nature of cyber threats or cyber attacks.
