Abstract:

The People's Republic of China is the 4th largest trading partner for the Czech Republic and since 2006 the second largest importer. For the Czech Republic, the People's Republic of China is the 18th largest export market. Czech exports to China have a growing trend over the long term. The largest increases were recorded in 2007 and 2011. Only in the last five years they have increased by almost 68%. For the Czech Republic, the People's Republic of China has become a leading business partner. There are countless enterprises in the Czech market for which cooperation with Chinese partners, whether in the form of export or import, is an integral part of their business activity. The aim of the article is to evaluate Czech-Chinese business cooperation on the example of Czech companies trading with the People's Republic of China.
