Data mining for adaptive monitoring of energy transition

Abstract:

Climate change is a global problem that threatens human health and the environment. Adaptive monitoring of the energy transition refers to the process of tracking and analyzing changes in the energy sector and adjusting strategies and actions in response to these changes. The study uses data available on the website of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) organization that supports countries in their transition to sustainable energy. The data also showed that countries such as China and Russia contribute the most to the production of greenhouse gases, although in Russia the trend of using non-renewable sources is downward, while in China the use of non-renewable fuels is constantly growing.
