Abstract:

Hospital costs are a major cost of budgetary spending in many countries all over the world. Improving efficiency plays an important role in cutting health cost while keeping quality of service. In Abu Dhabi- United Arab Emirates- the government took an initiative of outsourcing major hospital management to world leading authorities in healthcare. This paper compared the efficiency of those hospitals under different management. Data envelopment analysis is used as a tool of comparison between these hospitals.
