Abstract:
The rotation of goods in a warehouse facility is one of the basic elements for assessing the functioning of warehouse management. This aspect is most verified in the process of goods release from the warehouse. However, high goods turnover is conducive to the occurrence of distortions, therefore risk management is necessary. The purpose of the paper is to present a model for implementing risk management at the stage of stock release from the warehouse using process decomposition and maintaining an appropriate level of product rotation. The method of decomposing the process of goods release from the warehouse allows to transform the stage of stock release from the warehouse, by separating it into individual subprocesses. The elements supporting the model development are the disposable time scheme and determination of the average enterprise work intensity. Entrepreneurs' awareness of the expected volume of releases from a warehouse will enable comprehensive risk management, without reducing the number of pallets issued from the warehouse.
