Abstract:
Several definitions of service exist. Most of them are architectural or technical oriented. These definitions focused on defining the result of classical information systems architecture modification into services architecture ones. From a design point of view, a service should be considered as a mix of knowledge more then just a technical mean. For that purpose a complete review of existing knowledge surrounding the organisation should be done. In this paper we present an organisational knowledge cartography that should provide enough consistency to provide a design view definition of a service. The result of this cartography is a first step for the establishment of a clear organisational structure for services.
