Abstract:

After conducting a review of the literature on innovation in family firms, it has been detected that there is a research gap in relation to the development and results of innovation when it is carried out in cooperation with external agents. Moreover, from this review, we have found that there is a practical lack of publications explaining the intersection between innovation in family firms and higher education institutions. That is why this publication makes a definition of the framework to develop research that deepens the differences that are found according to scientific literature and have not been specifically investigated.
