Demographic Factors and Knowledge Sharing Quality among Malaysian Government Officers

Abstract:

Knowledge sharing among employees is one of the important elements in knowledge management. Many factors impede knowledge sharing in organizations. One of these factors commonly identified by previous work is that employees reluctant to share knowledge among themselves. The purpose of this study is seeks to find out the differences among government officers’ knowledge sharing quality in terms of demographic factors. The results show that demographic variables are not significant predictors to government officers’ knowledge sharing quality.
