Design and Implementation of XMSS Algorithm in FPGA

Abstract:

This thesis holds a short presentation of the Extended Merkle Signature Scheme and a description of the implementation of the indicated scheme. The construction of a one-time signature WOTS+, XMSS, and the structures used in them were discussed. The first chapter presents a brief overview of WOTS+ and XMSS. Chapter 2 presents the structure of the designed and implemented processor. Obtained occupancy after compilation and performance of the coprocessor were discussed. Finally, conclusions and potential opportunities to improve the results were presented.
