Abstract:

While understanding that the environment is a set of components allowing for provision of environmental sustainability, special priority should be given to the issues of adverse impact on nature, particularly, the problem of quality deterioration of water bodies when polluted with harmful substances in the process of socio-economic development. In this case, an indispensable component of thorough treatment of the issue is solution of the problems in the sphere of rental resource management, namely, monitoring of payment rates for pollutant discharge into water bodies.

Numerous investigations in this sphere allow for efficient treatment of the problem of the negative impact on the environment, providing favorable environmental condition. The above mentioned issue necessitates a throughout consideration of multiple calculation principles of payment rate for pollutant discharge into water bodies.

Thus, the authors suggest an auxiliary principle of calculating such payment rates using simple logarithmic equation.
