Abstract:
Many of the industrial activities are connected with threats caused both to the employees and the infrastructure. It is especially true in the case of deep mining industry, where the seismic threats are counted among the most dangerous ones. Risk management in such a case requires the knowledge of the current conditions, which can be obtained by the use of computerized monitoring systems. In the article, a detailed part of such a system is presented. The monitoring of rock mass tension is performed by analyzing the deformations of conical borehole made in the draft sidewall. The article presents the method for discovering a set of points formed by the crossing of the laser-generated lattice on the conical borehole surface. The methods of noise reduction methods are presented. The discrimination of the lattice lines by use of the Hessian matrix as well as the detection of its crossings are described. The developed algorithm was tested on the images gathered in the laboratory stand simulating industrial conditions with satisfactory results.
