Abstract:
This article aims to analyze the factors that influence the development of open innovation processes from the human resource dimension and the composition of the management team in small and medium-sized companies in the agro-industrial sector. A survey is carried out with items validated and supported in the literature for the collection of information and the data is analyzed by means of structural equations. The estimation method used is PLS through SMART-PLS software. The results obtained show that the factor of the experience of human resources has a greater effect to improve practices in innovation, pay attention to the formation of the management team from the dimensions of diversity and coordination. The research makes it possible to advance in the knowledge regarding the determinants of open innovation in the agribusiness sector to make future recommendations on the design of strategies to improve the competitiveness of organizations
