Determinants of Improvement-Oriented Voice Behavior among Junior Academic Staff Members in Egyptian Public Universities

Abstract:

In today’s hyper competitive market environments, the responsibility for improving organizational functioning cannot be left entirely on top management’s hands therefore, employees’ comments, thoughts, ideas, and suggestions are becoming critical to organizational performance (Morrison and Milliken, 2000). The rapid changes in technological, economic, and business environments recognize the importance of employees’ initiatives in making constructive change-oriented suggestions intended to improve organization’s situation (Motowidlo and Schmit, 1999).
