The article presents the results of research on the impact of transport infrastructure on the military mobility of Polish troops, especially allied forces, equipped with military equipment increased in size and weight, which requires engineering structures of increased load-bearing capacity (road and railways) as one of the basic determinants ensuring Poland's military security. The article presents a verification and assessment of the impact of transport infrastructure on military mobility. Factors determining the development of military mobility were presented, including the increased presence of allied forces on NATO's eastern flank. The article describes and verifies infrastructure, legal and legislative barriers as well as transport infrastructure requirements.
