Abstract:

The article indicates determinants of satisfaction with professional life of employees of enterprises located in western Poland. The identification of determinants was based on a new approach based on the TOPSIS method and generalised distance measure (GDM2) for ordinal data. The survey involved 511 employees. The results of the analysis indicated that the most important determinant of employee satisfaction is the possibility of balancing professional and personal life (work-life balance).
