Determination of Precedence in the Network Model for the Region´s Analysis

Abstract:

System described by a network diagram can be used for regional analysis. The structure of the system can subsequently be rewritten as incidence matrix. If the elements of the system are suitably defined in the analysis process, it is possible to understand various economic factors as a element attributes. The state of the element is determined by the attributes values in time. The attribute's value can be character state variables or flow variable quantified on the basis of limit values (in practice, the difference of border values is the most commonly used). By comparison of the attributes values can be set directions increase or decrease of values between elements in the system. By comparison of these values we can determine flows between elements in the system. These flows can be recorded by precedent matrices. Using these matrices and binary operations can identify the existence of precedence of different lengths. By using of the numerical operations can be found existence and frequency of precedence. Comparing the precedence can be analyzed otherwise incomparable value. This principle is applicable to economic systems. You can determine the effects of changes in parameters of the area. The fundamental problem for the determination of the first precedence is to select appropriate attributes and to determine their weights. The article demonstrates the method for the analysis of logistics infrastructure in the region.
