Determining the Effects of Reputational Risks on The Performance of The Domestic and International Banking System

Abstract:

This scientific report aims to analyze how reputational risks affect the long-term performance of banks, which should include the antecedent conditions of the experience of the persons involved in the decision-making process, in particular identifying the causes of their occurrence, understanding how they can be prevented and for identify the best action solutions. Using a qualitative comparative analysis of the unclear set (fsQCA), this study looks at how mechanisms for pre-dealing with sanctions imposed by national and international bodies can be identified, if any financial losses are passed on to the reputation, if the banks communicate in a transparent way financial results and if there are early warning mechanisms of any elements that may generate risks that may affect the bank's reputation.
