This paper focuses on the development of a holistic approach to older adults well-being evaluation on the basis of system analysis. The paper discusses the models of system and practical levels integrating both objective indicators and subjective assessments. Approbation of the model is done on the basis of Russian national and regional statistics for objective indicators and sociological survey for subjective assessments. Global composite indices (Global AgeWatch and Active Aging Index) are used as the normative models for analysis of the research findings.
