Developing a new enterprise architecture framework based on information technology service delivery

Abstract:

The concepts of IT service delivery and the enterprise architecture have been studied separately with the purpose of understanding each term alone, but there is a lack of studies focusing on these two concepts together. For example, most studies found in literature focus on the different domain definitions of enterprise architecture (e.g. Spewak et al 1992, TOGAF 2009), whereas other studies focused on the information technology service management (ITSM) concept (e.g. Peter 2006; Eric 2007)

In addition, Christian and Robert (2007) mentioned that few researches examined the effect of IT service delivery on the enterprise architecture which considered no mediator for this kind of relationship.
