Abstract:

The article presents selected research methods that were applied in the accomplishement of project:" Zero-emission economy of energy in the conditions of a balanced development of Poland up to year 2050" performed in Central Mining Institute in Katowice as well as the results of the performed research.
  
The main goal of the authors was determination of the influence  of particular surrounding  areas (economic, social, political-legal and environmental) upon the growth and development of zero-emission economy in the country. The authors carried out the identification of factors that  influence the considered technologies and pointed out stimulants and barriers.
