Abstract:

The aim of the paper is to present an approach to improve management of orders in manufacturing enterprises. These kind of orders are similar to projects. Therefore they are treated as project driven orders. This paper aims to describe and link the concept of risk management in projects driven orders. Presented approach can be seen as a tool to identify potential opportunities and threats in the project driven orders. The success of the project driven orders accomplishment depend on appropriate risk identification, assessment, plan, control and monitoring potential threats, avoiding risk with high impact on objectives of project driven orders. Presented tool can be a valuable source of knowledge for managers in decision-making processes during management of project driven orders. The paper shows the practical application with the prototype system with a case study.
