Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the value that the use of mobile technologies can bring to restaurants and how the use of software tools for this type of business can generate an increase in the commercial value perceived by customers, employees, and owners of such businesses. It was a descriptive type of research, which was in charge of reviewing the bibliography and/or documentation generated by researchers related to the application or study of the resulting effects of implementing mobile technologies in restaurants, generating a theoretical knowledge base of significant usefulness for future research and/or applications. The results of this systematic review of the literature demonstrated how the use of mobile technologies applied to problems encountered in restaurants and their gradual digitization, significantly improved their commercial value. Showing positive impacts on the experience of diners who come to restaurants, in turn, facilitate and accelerate the processes of administrative and interim staff of the various businesses where mobile applications were implemented and finally an improvement in the use of resources of these businesses.
