Development of an Adaptive Management Model for Innovative Activities of an Enterprise

Abstract:

The urgency of the problems, related to innovative activities, is caused by an exceptionally quick pace of scientific and technological progress and the highest level of competition in the global economy. Such conditions have become common as: shorter time for introducing in everyday life new R&D, business and managerial ideas at enterprises, change in the average customer’s needs and his readiness for accepting novelties, dispersion of sources of innovations in the economy and society.Competitiveness and sustainability of national and regional socioeconomic systems can be ensured on the basis of innovative development of the entire society. It is the mainstream trend Russia tries to follow, stipulated in the basic strategic documents of the federal level. In this regard, enterprises are the main chain in innovative problem solving.Innovative activities of business entities must be purpose-oriented, planned and eventuate in the desired results, which is why a corresponding management system has to be formed, being able to develop and improve under effects of the changing external environment and internal transformations. All the above-said defines the urgency of the research topic.
