Abstract:
The functioning of a modern market economy involves the new paradigm formation – business, classically aimed at increasing the return on investment, begins to implement strategies of working conditions improvement and staff development, cooperation with local authorities, solving environmental problems etc. The result of this policy is the investment of funds for the implementation of various social projects in education, health care and environmental protection. The immediate benefits for the company from the introduction of corporate social responsibility (CSR) are the creation of a stable business environment, reduced operational risks, increased financial performance and sales, increased productivity, reduced costs, market expansion and, consequently, increased market value.
