Development Of Hardware And Software Complex For Predicting Failures In Data Storage Systems Of Smart Cities

Abstract:

In the paper the conception of “smart cities” is discussed, and the project the purpose of which was to develop a hardware and software complex to predict failures in the data storage system is presented. Nowadays data storage systems are widely used for collecting data in smart cites systems. This paper shows the need to apply special methods for the development of a hardware and software complex to predict failures in the data storage system in order to prevent data failure. The developed project can find application in the field of laser architectural scanning and in the field of traffic management. The project of developing a software and hardware complex for predicting failures in the data storage system of the smart city is being implemented. Within the framework of the project, a “smart city health model” is developed and formalized in order to solve diagnostic problems and assess the reliability of the data storage system.
