Abstract:

The aim of the translated contribution is the analysis of the development of inflation in the conditions of the Slovak Republic with an emphasis on the current economic and political situation and development in the period 2013-2022. The secondary goal of the contribution is the analysis of the relationship between the annual rate of inflation and the index of the Binkert model, which belongs to one of the business prediction models implemented in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. In the beginning of the contribution, we are devoted to literary research, specifically the concept of inflation and its effects on the economy as well as on economic subjects. In the contribution, correlation analysis is applied in order to identify the relationship between the annual rate of inflation and the prosperity of the company.
