Abstract:

Development of military logistics theory is one of the key factors in improving the functioning of the armed forces. The experience of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland (AF RP) so far shows unequivocally that conducting modern and planned military operations places particular demands on entities responsible for their security and logistical support. Logistics issues are an important point of reference in scientific research conducted in the military environment, whose priority is to seek optimal solutions. The complexity of modern logistic processes requires, among other things, a multidimensional approach to solving problems which are the subject of studies of modern military logistics.

The aim of the article is to identify, evaluate and attempt to indicate the directions of development of military logistics in the field of social sciences. within the integrated scientific discipline – management and quality sciences.
