Development of Mini-Breweries in the Czech Republic in Context of Economic Growth of the Country

Abstract:

The Czech Republic as a country is considered to be the world phenomenon concerning the beer production and consumption. The article analyses development of number of mini-breweries in the Czech Republic in the time series from 2010 to 2017. Such a development has been compared with an increase in gross month wage in the same period, limiting an effective demand. There was found a strong correlation of the analysed variables (r = 0.996) which confirms that the consumers react on their better economic situation by purchasing more quality yet more expensive product. Economic-statistic study of the issue of development of number of mini-breweries has been processed with usage of linear regression and correlation. Studying both development of number of mini-breweries and closeness of dependence of number of mini-breweries on an average gross month wage in the time series, there was found a linear trend in both cases, supported by a high determination index.
