Development Trends of Personnel Policy in the Time of Digitalization in the Bank Sector of the Russian Federation

Abstract:

At the current stage of development of society and social relations, a new phase opens for the progress of human kind, which can be called the age of digitalization. At the new stage of development of the civilization, man's activity becomes related to creating, processing and using information and certain knowledge represented in a digital form. Today, most of the employed population is transforming from the sphere where traditional types of goods and services are produced and takes part in information accumulation, storage, search, processing and redistribution, with information becoming a consumer product.In this paper the authors analyze the current state of the banking sector of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the personnel component of banking business. It is because the changes in the personnel policy, caused by digital transformation, will be tremendous. One of the aims of the paper is to determine such changes. Also, in the course of work, the main functions of banking workers must be considered as well as the possibility of substituting them for digital technology.
