Abstract:

The management work involves activities of summarize and generalize the experience of driving, searching for new formulas, but finding the best solutions and methods of management of the organization. The results obtained in the course of their managers will be different depending on whether they will know how to use the theoretical and scientific basis of management. But the success, as Drucker argues, is to achieve high efficiency and adapt to external changes. For better knowledge the potential of the institution, opportunities and dangers that could arise from significant symptoms, management must identify the causes that might generate and to take measures to eliminate those elements that would lead to negative results and build opportunities. The mode of decision making and fulfilling time of their adoption decision depends on the performance of acts recorded in the public institutions. Thus, this paper makes a diagnostic analysis of the decisions taken by management of public institutions in Romania, from the strengths and weaknesses identified and ending with some recommendations which in our opinion, are meant to improve the performance of these entities.
