Abstract:

The article contains postulates regarding conditions and procedures for the development of the Polish Armed Forces professional soldiers career. The authors note that the decisions to appoint candidates to subsequent official positions are made to a large extent intuitively, without proper recognition of the professional soldiers competences  and appropriate selection procedures.
