The result: The study confirmed that the ideas of the theory of network economy provided by digital technologies in Ukraine are being successfully implemented in various directions and branches of national production, trade and services. However, the innovations themselves carry the dangers and emerging risks that were not present before the introduction of digital technologies. The authors highlight groups of digital economy development indicators, namely: employment in the digital industry, spatial indicators, technological and economic indicators of the digital economy. Based on the analysis of the global ratings of competitiveness, digitization and sustainable development, the authors formulate priorities for the further integrated development and digitization of Ukrainian business units. Conclusions. Digital technologies in the economy require specialists in new professions and new competencies, but at the same time make unnecessary the numerous groups engaged in traditional activities that cause logical resistance and controversy. The problem of selecting and evaluating datasets and "cloud" databases for their relevance is exacerbated. Therefore, the specialist must constantly determine what data should be searched, checked, stored and analyzed, and which should be simply ignored. For the business community, this problem is reflected in the constant reduction of time between data entry and the need to make management decisions. In general, the problems of transformation, transformation of economic information from product to product, and the socio-economic consequences of this process are relevant for some scientific research and professional discussions, which will be addressed by further author's research.
