Digital Innovation Directions in Education

Abstract:

The study theoretically identified the prerequisites that contribute to the development of digital competencies of the future teacher, the need to develop programs for the development of digital competence of teachers, ways to assess competence, determine their needs for professional development. The features of the implementation of the program for the formation of digital competence of teachers (DigCompEdu) are considered. DigCompEdu includes evidence-based directions for the implementation of educational programs that contribute to the formation of digital skills for teachers working with students of any age. The content of six areas of DigCompEdu that directly affect the professional activities of teachers is determined. The article reflects the results of research on improving the effectiveness of innovative technologies in education, as well as on the possible prospects and threats associated with digitalization. The regulatory and legal support for the development of digital innovations in various sectors of the economy and the educational sphere is analyzed. Based on the experimental work carried out, the experience of introducing digital innovations in education, a number of measures for the successful implementation of educational programs are proposed. The possibilities of using modern software based on existing learning management systems are identified.
