Digital Perspectives and Development Cycles in Services

Abstract:

Technological and technical capabilities of the digital economy lead to the change in needs and to fundamentally new patterns of consumers’ behavior. The purpose of the study was to identify tendencies and perspective directions for the development of the digital space of socially significant services and to evaluate statistical trends and prospects for the export of services. A statistical analysis of the development of the global services market as a whole, for groups of developed countries, developing countries, countries with economies in transition, as well as specific countries, showed the presence of a synchronous cyclical development of this economic sphere. Goal indicators for volumes of Russian exports were showed to be generally achievable, but a deeper justification of the planned values of export volumes for specific types of services is required. The main trends due to the development of information and communication technologies in the field of health and sports were highlighted. New information models of consumer behavior were identified.
