Digital Reality: Social Ontology and Empirical Indicators of the Problematization in the Mass-Media Space of Russia

Abstract:

The article considers the most significant parameters of digital reality. The authors present its main functional modalities, social and ontological replications and identify the main methodological principles and approaches to empirical studying of digital reality. Based on these principles, the author conducted a social research of the urgency of the problem of ‘digitalization’ in the Russian mass-media space; the results of the research are presented in the article.
