Abstract:
The article reveals the problem of digitalization of the higher education system and its consequences. It gives a comprehensive analysis of the essence and ambivalent nature of this process. The author consistently studies the positive aspects of introducing digital technologies in the learning process, which are connected with the prospects for the development of online and remote education. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of risks associated with the digitalization of education, the study of a possible negative impact of these processes on the social development and the future of mankind.
