Abstract:

Tthe idea of human rights and the concept of human security is essential to human dignity.  Human dignity is a complex notion involving philosophers, lawyers, anthropologists who operate within different social and political contexts, and who pursue diverse, often conflicting, interests and goals.

 The idea of human dignity and the concept of human security has played an key role in several social and political movements in the past century. Currently one can notice that human dignity plays a vital role in the development of human rights and human security adjudication. When analyzing human dignity used in judicial interpretations, we can find several definitions of it. One the one hand, some judges use human dignity as the basis for human rights. On the other hand, dignity is used to express the idea of a collection of human rights and human security.
