Abstract:
The goal of the research was to investigate the issue regarding inter-age communication and age discrimination in Latvian companies. To find the answers on research questions, the survey among 661 Latvian respondents was conducted, using the authors’ developed questionnaire. The results were processed, using analysis of frequencies and ranking. The survey revealed the fact that most of employees of Latvian companies were not faced with any kind of discrimination. But if such cases occurred, this was mostly either age discrimination, or ddiscrimination on work experience grounds.
