Abstract:

This paper aims to analyse the dispersion of clusters in Romania and to evaluate the impact of clusters on regional development, more precisely on the smart cities development. In order to proceed the research, we take an overview on Romanian clusters, then made a territorial analysis, we study the effects of clusters on regional development, than we try to expand the formation of clusters in different regions in order to stimulate the cooperation and increase the productivity.  Our research is based on the data provided by The Romanian National Trade Register Office and by The Romanian National Institute of Statistics.
